Introducing...Barb Stork and Gouache


Saturday, February 27, 10am

This virtual workshop about gouache painting will include a translator speaking Kinyamulenge. The 14 available art kits are prioritized for Kinyamulenge speakers. If you know someone locally who's primary language is Kinyamulenge and would like to join the workshop, e-mail or call 937-228-4532. Kits will be delivered to registrants.

Attendees will virtually join the DSA for a gouache workshop over Zoom! Meet instructor, Barb Stork and learn about her artistic practice. Follow along to explore gouache painting.

Art Kit Includes

  • Gouache paint set
  • Size 6 Bamboo paintbrush
  • 2 sheets 11" x 14" watercolor paper
  • newsprint for sketching
  • pencil
  • coated paper plate for mixing
  • water cup
  • paper towels

Barb Stork
Barb Stork is an artist and educator having taught as an adjunct professor at Sinclair Community College. Barb received her BA from Wright State University and has exhibited her work locally and nationally.

Introducing...
The purpose of the workshop series, Introducing..., is to acquaint DSA members and the community to different mediums and methods in the visual arts. In conjunction, the attendees will get to know the instructing artist, their background, and tips and tricks of their trade.
