OPEN CALL 2026: Opening Reception & Awards Presentation
The Dayton Society of Artists is pleased to present OPEN CALL 2026, a juried exhibition featuring contemporary artwork by artists working in all media. Bringing together a diverse range of artistic practices, the exhibition offers a broad view of work being created across our community and beyond.
Join us for the Opening Reception and Awards Presentation as we celebrate the selected artists and announce this year's prize winners. Juried by Alexandra Franz of Manifest, OPEN CALL 2026 highlights outstanding work from artists across a wide range of media and approaches.
Awards Presentation at 7:00 PM
Guests will have the opportunity to meet participating artists, explore the exhibition, and enjoy refreshments while experiencing some of the most compelling contemporary work being created today.

Juror: Alexandra Franz
Alexandra Franz is a representational painter of figures, portraits, and still lives. She serves as an Open Figure Moderator at Manifest Drawing Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, and has exhibited in nationally competitive exhibitions throughout the United States and internationally. A recipient of the Cincinnati MacDowell Society Artist Award and an Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant, Franz brings a strong background in both studio practice and art history to her role as juror.
